Arizona Threatens to Pull the Plug on Los Angeles
You’ve heard the saying “Don’t mess with Texas,” how about another one: “Don’t Mess With Arizona”?
“If an economic boycott is truly what you desire, I will be happy to encourage Arizona utilities to renegotiate your power agreements so Los Angeles no longer receives any power from Arizona-based generation,” he wrote in the letter. “I am confident that Arizona’s utilities would be happy to take those electrons off your hands. If, however, you find that the City Council lacks the strength of its convictions to turn off the lights in Los Angeles and boycott Arizona power, please reconsider the wisdom of attempting to harm Arizona’s economy.”
OOYAH! Arizona!

I think they should do it, whether L.A. capitulates or not. Shame we can’t cut the power to beserkley and other liberal slime-holes as well.

Nah, the nampy-pambies who got shoved aside by the politicos with the cajones to pass SB1070 are still in charge of the contracts – so no plugs will be pulled. Shame, though – I’m sure there are others who would love to have an abundance of power, in effect knocking some cost off the electricity flowing into our homes…
