At the bottom of this post, I provide the rules of flag protocal and a link to the US Code regarding our Flag.

This post is dedicated to the political party of adolescents (aka Democrats), who, outside of flowery speeches, show NO respect for anything or anybody other than themselves.

As a Veteran of the United States Navy, I have a problem with this treatment of my Ensign. USN protocal states when boarding a ship, you are to salute the Officer of the Deck, and then The Ensign. This disgusts me.

But what are the laws regarding our flag?

Flag Code
The laws relating to the flag of the United States of America are found in detail in the United States Code. Title 4, Chapter 1 pertains to the flag; Title 18, Chapter 33, Section 700 regards criminal penalties for flag desecration; Title 36, Chapter 3 pertains to patriotic customs and observances. These laws were supplemented by Executive Orders and Presidential Proclamations.

§8. Respect for flag
K. The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.

Storing flags in trash bags adjacent to a dumpster is NOT dignified by any stretch of the imagination. Were they storing these flags along with food rappers and soda cups as well?

But alas, this behavior should be expected from a candidate that refused to wear a lapel pin until he took heat for that lack of patriotism.

Obama’s campaign once again provides us with a blatent lie to to cover up another debacle, and maybe even a broken law or two.
