Barack Obama is extraordinarily dangerous to this nation. He will wind up killing us as a nation and maybe as individuals. He is the most dangerous candidate to ever get this close to the Whitehouse. Here’s why:

His “sole priority as President for defense spending will be to protect the American people.” How you say? First he said he’s the only candidate that opposed this war from the beginning… and has also said he voted against it. The war began in 2003, but he wasn’t sworn into office until January 2005. Nice try, but clearly a lie.

Barack says “…I will end misguided defense policies… I will cut tens of millions of dollars in wasteful spending… I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems… I will not weaponize space… I will slow our development in future combat systems… I will institute an independent defense priorities board… “I will set a goal of a world without nuclear weapons. To seek that goal I will not develop new nuclear weapons, I will seek a global ban on the production of fissile material, and I will negotiate with Russia to take our ICBMs off hair trigger alert and to achieve deep cuts in our nuclear arsenals.”

So, to achieve his sole priority to protect America, this chowder head is going to cut every program that is protecting America. And just so everyone knows, the US refers to our nuclear arsenal as “Strategic Deterrents”. Their sole purpose is to greatly discourage state attacks on our country and our allies. Further, our nuclear weapons are NOT on a hair trigger, LOL! See what happens to a society that watches too much TV? Any nuclear weapon takes several deliberate steps to occur in exactly a specific sequence in order to even arm a weapon; much less launch it, and the POTUS is directly involved throughout the entire scenario.

Now, as far as cutting wasteful spending, it’s kinda hard to beat Clinton who within two terms cut 1.96 billion dollars from our defense budget. note: In 1956, defense comprised 60% of our federal budget while welfare accounted for 22%. Today, the tables are completely reversed. Welfare accounts for 60% while defense garners a measly 20% of the federal budget. Barack wants to increase entitlements along the lines of socialized medicine program among others which will put our defense budget in the 16% range.

United States.

From 1989 to 1999, the size of the US military was reduced from 2.1 million to 1.4 million. We currently have the most technically advanced military that includes operations of UAVs from halfway around the world. But what about the big guys who pose a threat to our freedom?

CHINA.

China’s armed forces are right around 2.8 million. China has chemical weapons, nuclear weapons and it is highly suspected that they are producing biological weapons as well.

RUSSIA.

Russia’s armed forces are in the range of 1.52 million, has the big three, nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, and over the last month began an overt takeover of its satellite nations that was once part of the Soviet Union.

We are still clearly superior to the smaller threats Like Iran, North Korea, etc. that pose a danger, but on a smaller scale.

While China and Russia are growing their militarys, Obama intends to reduce ours further still. Our military’s strength and superiority is no longer based on size, but is in large part due to our advanced technology. Yet Obama wants to eliminate that advantage too. My friends who read this but are not part of the blogosphere, this is what I mean when I say Obama is extraordinarily dangerous for this nation. We can debate policies and philosophies, but we cannot compromise our national security. Barack Obama will kill us as a nation. Our country will be decimated if he’s elected; mark my words.
